Dear Brethren,

Where do we begin to share the goodness of the Lord? Thank you for praying for our March Revival with Allen Snare. Our attendance: Friday 35; Saturday 53; Sunday 25. Some Deaf were able to come from the other counties. On Sunday evening, the Deaf had opportunity for testimonies. Richard Deweese shared how the Lord had revived his faith since he had started coming to the Deaf Church. We have a faithful group of 14, with many visitors.

Our Deaf friend, Gerald “Woody”, went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2004. Although they were not members, Bro. Mike was the only pastor able to minister to them through Woody’s five months of cancer suffering. Two hundred Deaf and family came to the service where Mike preached the gospel message “Do you know God Loves You?”. He told also that Woody had trusted the Lord when younger and was not afraid to die. The Scriptures were clearly preached in Sign Language and Woody’s long-time interpreter friend, Ina Faye Price, did two beautiful songs and voiced for Mike Bader. Our thanks to the C-ville Baptist Temple for their facilities as the Deaf Church hosted @ 114 Deaf friends and family members in their fellowship hall.

On Easter Sunday, although some had to be away, God sent Deaf and hearing visitors and we had 19 present. We rejoiced in His Loving Grace, Blood Sacrifice, and Victorious Resurrection!!!

In April, we traveled back to Michigan, for 6 days, to move more of our belongings out of Candy’s dad’s house. We were able to visit all the family including her brother and his wife from Chicago. We saw many friends at Candy’s former company, several are beloved brethren. Mike preached at Parkview Baptist Church for the Deaf in Livonia, MI. Fourteen attended the mid-week service and many came forward when challenged by God’s Word. Bro. John Ashley is the Deaf pastor and our dear friend. We hugged and chatted with many special friends there at the Deaf Church including CJ, Sue, Judy, Jerry and Michelle. Our Canadian pastor friend Jose Ramos, his wife Colette and Tai Doung came too and we fellowshipped until midnight.

We returned Saturday pm, preached Sunday, then Monday-Wed. we were able to attend a Spirit blessed Camp meeting at Maryville Bpt Church in Louisville, KY. Lawrence Shillingburg, Deaf pastor from MD, invited us. God ministered through and to pastors from all over the country, as Bro. Jack Roberts hosted. They served 3 meals a day! Their Micah Christian School teaches Sign Language and we shared with the teacher and students. God Bless Them All!

One fiscal request: It would help our tight financial situation if supporters would send your support to either address below. Our tax man is helping us to record our support and we will soon issue an income spread sheet to our supporting churches (and others upon request).
